Whispered interpreting is a form of simultaneous interpreting while discussion is taking place whereby the interpreter whispers to the listener placed nearby what is being said and the listener can speak directly to the interpreter if clarification is needed.

Whispered interpretation is suitable for small groups of 2 to 3 people.
